Basic Function
Responsible for supporting the company's sales goals through professional sales techniques and good customer service, maintaining quality relations with existing accounts, and providing sales and marketing coverage by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Develops maximum sales potential out of assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company's products and services as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses.
- Builds and maintains quality relations with existing assigned accounts, and increases account base and volume of sales on a consistent basis.
- Contacts prospective and current customers to solicit sales of company products and services.
- Receives customer inquiries, and performs follow up procedures to include providing price quotes, new product information, and receiving feedback regarding company products and services.
- Creates customized proposals to meet specific customer requirements in an efficient manner.
- Stays abreast of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies through available resources.
- Utilizes company leads to expand current customer base and follows up all leads promptly.
- Maintains appropriate records for the development of sales forecasts for each customer.
- Applies technical knowledge of company products and services to best meet customer needs.
- Submits appropriate paperwork to management such as expense reports and call reports in accordance with training procedures.
- Understands and supports company sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service to all customers, and foster the development of long term business relationships.
- Attends training activities and trade shows on behalf of company to present information regarding company products and services.
- Completes and submits sales reports each week on account activity, outstanding proposals, proposals secured and proposals lost with complete documentation.
- Provides information and/or follows up on customer as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior sales experience helpful.
Certifications/Licenses
Valid Drivers License - Must meet insurance underwriting requirements
