K. Sidrane has been proudly servicing your label and packaging needs since 1948, making us one of the oldest veterans in the label industry. Company founder Harold Sidrane was a World War II vet when he started this family-owned and operated business over 60 years ago. His wife, Katherine was the co-founder and is the company’s namesake.
K. Sidrane was one of the first companies on the label scene, and Harold was featured in the novel They Built an Industry for his role in the evolution of the pressure-sensitive label business. He invented many of the machines used during the onset of the printing industry, and to this day K. Sidrane still utilizes one of the printing presses he created.
From the company’s inception, K.Sidrane’s headquarters travelled east from an apartment in Manhattan to what would eventually become a permanent home in Freeport in the early 1950’s, where we operated our business from for over 50 years. In 2012, it took Superstorm Sandy just a couple of hours to completely devastate the entire region.
What originally appeared to be a significant setback ended up opening the doors for our most exciting venture yet. In the fall of 2013, K. Sidrane relocated a bit further out east to a brand new, state of the art manufacturing facility in Farmingdale, NY.
Three generations strong, K.Sidrane is proud to honor our time-honored legacy of quality, customer service and timeliness. Let us show you why we’re the perfect label provider for your next project.
